How I hand paint digital paintings.
Digital painting is an art form in which I use traditional painting techniques such as watercolor, oils, impasto, etc. which I apply using a digitizing tablet and stylus, this gives me a similar environment to a physical painter.
As a digital pet portrait artist I have at my disposal several tools not available to the traditional painter. Some of these include: a virtual palette consisting of millions of colors, almost any size of canvas or media. A graphics tablet allows me to work with precise hand movements with over two thousand different levels of pressure sensitivity simulating a brush and canvas.
The unique advantage of ordering a digital painting over a traditional painting is that once you have the file, you have the flexibility of being able to either upload your pet portrait onto a computer for viewing, Email you portrait or simply print it in as many different ways as you wish . This is a recent Horse portrait I have just finished and framed for a client in Norway.

I provide many different ways for you to receive your finished pet animal or wildlife portrait / painting, the first being the digital file only this may be sent to you by email, which will allow you to print and frame the portrait yourself.
I offer giclee prints from my studio up to 16 x 11 inches (30 x 42 cm) which will fit a standard frame (40 x 50 cm) with an interior matte. I also offer greeting cards embellished with your pet portrait / paintings, I include an example of these greeting cards with every portrait ordered.
The above Horse portrait was a standard price of 55 euro for the digital file and 20 euros for an A3: 30 x 42 cm giclee print on Fine Art archival quality canvas cloth, 100% real cotton canvas, spray sealed and hand finished by me with artists acrylic gel medium allowing hanging without glass. The frame was extra.
